livingrecovery.org · Central Oregon Peer Services Foundation (CO-PS)
Effective: May 2026 · Last reviewed: May 2026
The short version: This site is a peer support tool. It is not a doctor, a therapist, or an emergency service. By using it, you agree to use it the right way and to let your peer support team help you.
If you are in danger right now, call 911 or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
1. What This Site Is
Living Recovery is a peer support and case management tool run by CO-PS. It helps you:
- Set goals and track your progress
- Keep track of appointments and deadlines
- Chat with a peer support tool called Pace
- Find services like health care, housing, and benefits
- Stay on top of court or program requirements
What this site is NOT:
- It is not a medical or mental health treatment service
- It is not a substitute for your doctor, therapist, or treatment provider
- It is not a legal service or a substitute for an attorney
- It is not an emergency service
Clinical treatment (including substance use disorder treatment) is provided by separate providers such as Rock Recovery. That information lives in their system, not this one.
2. Who Can Use This Site
This site is for people enrolled in CO-PS programs, CO-PS staff, and CO-PS administrators. You must be at least 18 years old to use this site without a guardian. Access is given by CO-PS staff — a staff member will confirm your role before you can access personal information.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login information safe. Do not share your password with anyone. If you think someone else has access to your account, contact us right away at [email protected] or tell your peer support specialist.
4. Using This Site the Right Way
When you use this site, you agree to:
- Give accurate information about yourself
- Use this site only for peer support and case management
- Respect the privacy of other people
- Not try to access another person's account or records
- Not use this site to harass, threaten, or harm anyone
5. The Pace Chat Tool
Pace is an AI-powered peer support chat tool. It is designed to listen, ask helpful questions, and support you in thinking through your goals and plans.
Pace is not a licensed counselor or therapist. It cannot give medical, legal, or clinical advice. It is not a crisis service.
If you share something in chat that sounds like you might be in danger, Pace will let you know that a staff member will be notified. This is for your safety.
If you are in crisis right now — call 911 or 988. Do not wait for a response from this site.
6. Your Privacy and Your Information
How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices. By using this site, you agree to both of those documents.
We will not share your information with courts, probation or parole officers, or other agencies without your written consent — unless the law requires us to.
7. What We Cannot Promise
We work hard to keep this site running, but we cannot promise the site will always be available, every feature will work perfectly on every device, or that Pace's responses will always be exactly right for your situation. If you experience a problem, please let us know. We want to fix it.
8. Ending Your Access
You can stop using this site at any time. If you want your account and data removed, contact us at [email protected]. Some records may need to be kept for legal or program requirements.
9. Oregon Law Applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
10. Changes to These Terms
If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the site or by email. By continuing to use the site after changes are posted, you agree to the new terms.
